Infinite Voices

Helping organizations create systems of belonging.

Hi! It’s me, Kyndell.

“Let’s create spaces where voices are heard, trust is built, and transformation is possible.”

Managing the Middle

Culture doesn't change at the Top. It changes in the Middle.

Middle managers are the heartbeat of every organization. They are the ones tasked with turning big institutional visions into daily reality, often while navigating their own burnout and the shifting expectations of their teams.

I am excited to offer Stewardship Coaching. After 25 years in the newsroom—navigating the pressures of a global pandemic, a national racial reckoning all while changing every part of our business—I’ve learned how to navigate the middle and thrive in it.

I will provide a direct and nurtured space for managers to look at their leadership style, name the gaps between their intentions and their impact, and build the muscle to bridge them. I use a "student-leader" mindset—learning while doing—to stress-test difficult conversations and co-create a safe container for growth.

If you’ve been thrown in the deep end of management and told the figure out how to swim, I’m here to help. Click the link below and let’s talk things through.

Talking about the work

I spoke with Rebecca Snyder to discuss how newsroom culture evolves in times of reckoning and renewal. I reflect on the role of community within journalism — from internal employee resource groups to authentic relationship-building with readers — and discuss how leadership and intentional listening can strengthen newsroom equity and storytelling.
